Poynton FC Girls Under 10's Match Reports 2007-08

Saturday 8th December 2007- Stockport County Ladies U10's 1-7 Poynton FC Girls Under 10's - South Manchester Girls League (League Cup)

From the Kick off Poynton were on the attack with the ball rarely coming in Poynton's half, when the ball did come in Poyntons half Isla made some fantastic saves. The first goal came from Georgie, then another from Lucy and then Chloe making the score at half time 3-0 up to Poynton.

Second Half:: Stockport County got a quick goal but Poynton were determined to keep the lead and quickly got another with Isla being the goal scorer. Nikki then got one and then an own goal by one of there defenders off a cross from georgie then to finish georgie got her second. With a change of goalkeepers at half time Chloe now in net too made fantasic saves to keep Poyntons lead up. The final score was 7-1 to Poynton.

We had a strong defence with Daisy and Emily making some crucial tackles. Overall, it was an excellent team performance despite the bad weather and a great result.
