Complaints Procedure

Poynton FC prides itself on it's FA Charter Standard Community Club Award. Therefore we are committed to ensuring all the young people in our care are looked after in a manner that aids their development. However, if you feel that you have a complaint about the Club, or a member of the Club, please follow the procedures as outlined below.

Complaints Procedure:

1. They should report the matter in writing to the Club Secretary unless the matter involves a Child Welfare issue. If the matter is a Child Welfare issue please contact the Child Welfare Officer immediately. The details of your complaint must include what happened, where and when it occurred, and who was involved. It must also include the details of any independent witnesses. If you are aware of a similar incident please also include these details.

2. The Clubs Complaints Committee will then arrange a meeting to be held at the earliest opportunity so that the complaint can be discussed and the matter resolved.

3. The Clubs Complaint Committee will comprise of at least five Committee members. Two of which must be either, the Club Chairman, the Club Secretary or the Club Treasurer.

4. Issues regarding Child Welfare will only be dealt with by the Club Complaints Committee if the issue is not deemed serious enough to be passed onto the County Child Welfare Officer. If the issue is dealt with by the Club then the Child Welfare Officer (or Assistant Child Welfare Officer) must also be present.

The Clubs Complaints Committee will not make judgement on squad and team selection issues.
