Poynton FC is proud of it's Child Welfare record. All our coaches have an Enhanced CRB check and have attended the FA Child Protection Workshop within the last 3 years. Moreover we take all aspects of a child's safety seriously and we have in place a Child Welfare Officer to deal with all the potential problems that can arise. Please note that if you have a problem or are aware of child abuse please contact the Child Protection Officer first, who may well refer the incident to the police or social services.

All Child Welfare personnel are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all young people involved at Poynton FC and have attended the Child Welfare Officer's Workshop run by Cheshire County FA.

Child Welfare is not involved in team or squad selection. Such issues must be discussed with the Team Manager.
